Public Affairs
The Master in Public Affairs (MPAf) program is a one year graduate program designed for practitioners and academics in government and non-government institutions, as well as scholars dedicated to the analysis of public issues, particularly as they relate to the improvement of public welfare. Graduate students need to take 31 units in order to graduate from the chosen specialization. MPAf will produce graduates who are competent towards applying theories and tools necessary in managing socio-political, economic, and cultural affairs.
Vision
In the context of ICT for development, the Political Science Program envisions itself to:

- Be the center of local and regional researches on governance and development;
- Provide training and expertise in areas that respond to the critical issues confronting the region, nation and the world such as rights-based perspective on development, poverty eradication, corruption, human rights violations, conflict resolution and sustainable development.
Mission
The program shall focus on ICT as an important component of governance, politics, and law in the modern world. As a tool, the Political Science Program will focus on ICT as a tool that influences governance, politics and law in the modern world. As an area of study, the focus will be on the impact of ICT as well as policy research and policy creation on ICT that would contribute to development.

The MPAf program aims to produce graduates who are able to:
1. Discuss theories in explaining socio-cultural affairs;
2. Apply development theories and concepts to management, policy, and planning activities within governmental and quasi-governmental organizations, the business sector, and other civil society organizations; and
3. Evaluate development issues and make public choices and actions consistent with the needs of the times.
