On the occasion of UP’s 118th Founding Anniversary, UP Cebu Center for Human Rights Education (CHRE) Unit in consortium with the Philippine Earth Justice Center (PEJC) and the Commission on Human Rights (CHR-7) launched the 6-month project, Way SUP-SUPay (Paglikay sa Single-Use Plastics sa Komunidad sa Brgy. Camputhaw ug Brgy. Lahug). This is funded by The Asia Foundation through PEJC and CHR-7. The project is spearheaded by the team lead Atty. Francis Michael Abad and members, Prof. Dexter Gabica, and Atty. Leo Bono. The UP Cebu CHRE Unit In-charge was also present and among the organizers of the said event, Atty. Cyril Bryan D. Cuizon.
