Ricky Ranque Salem, M.Ed.
Assistant Professor
Ricky R. Salem finished his Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Physics and Math at University of San Carlos in 2013 and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is also a recipient of Department of Science and Technology – Science Education Institute Scholarship during his college education. He completed his Master in Education major in Physics at University of the Philippines Cebu in 2017. He is currently teaching Physics-related and Research-related subjects for Junior and Senior High School, and Master’s program in UP Cebu. He currently serves as the head of the disciplinary committee in the High School Program. At the same time, he also acts as the Program Adviser for the Master of Education major in Physics students. His paper entitled “Conventional, Structured, Camera-captured Note-taking Methods: A Comparative Study” was published in The Normal Lights, the official journal publication of Philippine Normal University, last December 2020. He aims to pursue researches centered on improving students’ performance on Science, as well as, providing possible inputs in relevantly teaching the subject.
